LGPBA serves as a forum for our members have to voice their
concerns and opinions regarding legislation governing the fresh
water lakes that we serve. We will take an active role in lobbying
in the interests of our members. We will use the strength of
our collective membership to promote and sustain our interests,
and to deter those who would seek to infringe on those rights.
We will also seek to preserve and protect Lake George and the
fresh water lakes in and around New York State so that they
may be enjoyed by future generations of boaters.
Our website will serve as a location for our members to find current
information about political and legislative events that have the
potential to impact their enjoyment of Lake George waters. We will
provide comprehensive information and coordinate our collective
response to these situations.
Our members benefit through the unique and fun networking opportunity
provided by our Annual Poker Run events and membership rallies.
Member to member discounts have been established and our website
lists links to our business and individual member web sites.
We promote and encourage safe boating at all LGPBA functions and
our website provides links to available boater safety courses within
our territory.
